Thank you for your interest in our buckle hardware! Our hardware can commonly be seen on some of the top Trophy Buckles out there. Our Customers range from hobby buckle makers to some of the top renowned buckle makers in the USA! Please note our buckle hardware requires special tools and knowledge to properly mount onto a buckle. Not intended or recommended for personal buckle repairs. If you need to repair an old or new buckle we first recommend contacting the manufacturer of the buckle and if that proves unsuccessful, try contacting a buckle maker.

Recommended attachment method:
Solder
Our hardware requires soldering into place using solder. Our hardware is made of solid brass therefore you want to use a solder that is compatible with brass. When using our washer, you will be required to solder it onto one of our stainless loops. Our fixed loops also require soldering directly onto the buckle. Therefore silver solder is the recommended choice for solder as it is compatible with both these metals and metals most commonly used to make buckles.

Washer
Washer is optional and is intended to center the belt. The washer should be the first step in installation when using it. Slip the washer onto the loop and solder it into place dead center on the loop (shown above).
Barrels
The barrels are to be soldered in place. You want to figure your ideal mounting place for the hardware and start with soldering one barrel first. Normally on the left end of the buckle. You may want to flatten the bottom side of the barrel to make it easier to solder in place so it doesn’t roll off the buckle back during the process. Then insert one end of the loop into the soldered barrel and then the other free barrel onto the other end of the loop and solder that second barrel into place on the buckle. At this time you should have a swiveling loop for the belt to go through.
Hook/Pin
This part is to be soldered directly onto the buckle back as well. Normally centered on the right end of the buckle. You may grind the base of the hook to achieve an angle on it or solder as is vertically.
Wire/Loop
Of all the loops we offer only the "fixed" loops require soldering directly onto the buckle. Those loops do not use barrels. These loops are to be centered onto your buckle on the left end of the buckle.
